MICHELLE YALOWEGA
Michelle lives in Squamish, B.C. and works full time as a high school science teacher. Outside of the classroom she can most often be found bouldering in the forest in Squamish. Whether projecting with friends, touring people around, or doing a solo circuit, it is her favourite way to decompress.
"One of the most rewarding components of my job is coaching and running the climbing club that I started at the school a few years ago. The kids think of me as some sort of ninja, and that is handy street credit to have in the hallways!"
When the rain comes to town, the dry rock down south starts calling her. Over the past few years Michelle has visited many climbing locations around North America, and she plans to drop in on many more in the years to come.
“I’m psyched to be part of the blurr team. Whether I’m teaching a class or getting schooled in the boulders, I’ve got all my bases covered when I’m wearing blurr.”
