I first started climbing when I was eight years old. My little brother, Michael, and I would play around on the bouldering wall at the Calgary Climbing Centre with our snazzy water shoes on while our older siblings, Stacey and Chris did the hard core training with real deal shoes. Soon enough we were all on teams and climbing hard. Now I'm 19 years old and still hooked. I've traveled with the Canadian Youth Climbing Team to six Youth World Cup events all over the world, placing 5th (a personal best) in China in 2005. I have finished 1st in 3 Canadian National Bouldering events, as well in numerous Junior National events. I love climbing outside and have sent 5.13c and V7. I'm pretty stoked on all I've accomplished and psyched for what the future holds. Whatever I do in life, climbing will always play a major part. I love the people, the traveling, the training, and the rock! It's all pretty rad.
